At Themis Fiskeri, we take great pride in supporting local associations and cultural life. Working with children and young people is especially important to us. We know that there are many volunteers out there working hard to keep these associations/clubs together, and we are happy to support them.

Team Hjørring is an association that works for health, sports and culture in Vendsyssel.
15 young people are selected for a cycling team who need a boost in life. This could be: to a healthier lifestyle, or to better self-confidence.
The goal for the team is to cycle to Paris in 9 days.
We think this is a great project and we can’t wait to follow the team as they head to Paris.

Education at the North Sea Oceanarium
Providing children and young people with good knowledge about fishing is very close to our hearts. That’s why we send some school classes to the North Sea Oceanarium in Hirtshals every year.
The kids have a great day out and learn a lot about fishing and the oceans that surround us.
It is a great pleasure for us to organize and participate in these events.

Themis Fiskeri - Light up the darkness
We want to make sure that the city’s children light up in the dark when cycling or walking to school in the morning, so we have distributed traffic vests to a lot of school classes. If you need a vest for your child between 3-9 years old, please contact elizabeth@themis.se.
Themis Fiskeri sells herring to benefit victims in Ukraine
In 2022 and 2023, in collaboration with Prinsens sild and Pelagia, we have marinated some of the herring we have caught in the North Sea. The herrings were very popular and all proceeds went to the victims of the Ukraine war.
The Lars Kruse Scouts in Skagen, the FDF in Thyborøn, the Ice Hockey Club on Hönö and other associations helped us with the sale. Thank you so much to these enthusiasts.
